The majority of members of STEKA are working in governmental offices and institutions, most in the administrative sector of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, and an other group are employees in private social welfare sector.
STEKA is a member union of Federation of Salaried Employees Pardia. Pardia is a member organisation of the The Finnish Confederation of Professionals STTK , an umbrella organisation in which there are 18 other trade organisations.
