The Finnish labor market model is based on continious cooperation and negiotations between employers and employees. Cooperation between labor market organizations and the government is also an essential part of The Finnish model.
The issues relates, among others, salaries and remuneration, working life legislation, civil service development programmes and certain parts of social legislation, and the balance between work and family.
The three-partite collaboration between employers, employees and governmental bodies has been an important part of the development of the Finnish welfare state and ensuring the country's success in international competition.
Pardia aims at protecting your interests both independently and together with the Finnish Confederation of Salaried Employees STTK.
Collective Agreements – the most important
Pardia negotiates with the State Employer’s Office the collective agreements on employment terms for state sector. The member unions of Pardia negotiate more detailed office-specific agreements on employment contracts.
